So i have been thinking since i came back to the server and saw the new things to make a topic about the things i like in the server and things i don't like and things that may be added to the server."If Maverick and the other Head Admins want of course"!
Ok so first of all i thing i have said this multiple times in the server i don't like the random weapon system yes it may be fun at times some players like it others don't it's completely normal not everyone likes the same thing but let me tell you why i personally don't like it.
So before i told maverick that i don't like it because sometimes during map change sometimes during first round it gives everyone different weapon like FAMAS,GALIL,M4A1,AK47,AWP but only few players got the "chance" to get those weapons on first round other players got not so "op" weapons they got weapons like TMP,P90,MP5,UMP45 and so on, now i'm not saying these weapons are useless or anything but let's be real AWP or M4A1 vs TMP or UMP45 well we all know who is going to win well at least 90% of the time.
Now later i told Maverick that i don't like the system this way and he changed it which is good because now everyone get the same exact weapon and no one is you know "op" you may be asking "So since maverick changed the system everyone to get the same weapon and everyone to be equal why are you complaining."
Well the reason is simple i was playing on air_fight2 couple of days ago and it came again the option for "random weapon" and we were like 8 or 9 people in the server and we all got awp of course my team literally rekted the enemy team and guess what happened my team the people who still got there AWP were literally camping in our base waiting for the enemy team to come so we can rekt them again and this continued for like 5 and the enemy team got mad and people started leaving the server.
This happened again yesterday on nojarq's knife map i don't know why there is a "random weapon" option on knife maps but oh well doesn't matter so we were 3 people in the server i was playing alone vs 2 players and it gave again random weapons and yeah i rekted the other 2 guys with the gun that i was given from the random weapon system not sure which one it was it might have been MP5 so i continued killing them each round with my MP5 and they were raging now some of you might ask
"LOLUMAD since they are playing with knife and you with gun why don't you drop the gun to play fair"but come on let's be realistic everyone who had the option to have wep would have used it to (well okay not everyone but at least 90% of the server players will)
So yeah this is one of the reasons i don't like this system at times it's balanced "kinda" but for me personally sucks and it's not fun "at least for me" if someone else has different opinion about this "random weapon system" please share it.

So now the things i like that have been added to the server.
Well to be honest not that much has changed but still i like to point out the new feature that was added to the server the option to give other players money i personally really like this feature and i think it's really cool.
The other thing is the option for T players to take the bomb by pressing E from players who (don't know either where to plant it or completely forget they have the bomb).
Also the fog feature which only admins can use is really fun i personally really enjoy it a lot.
Those are the things i like in the server

Okay so now i know that many of you may not like this "suggestion"
So before you all know how the server had maps like de_rats_1337 and de_school_attack.
Well i don't know about you but before i was playing on other servers with car maps and i had noticed that they to had maps like de_rats and de_school_attack.
I have noticed lately since i came back to the server that not that many players really enjoy some maps and rather leave when the map changes and later come back when the map is changed to a different maps i think some of you might agree with me that before when we had de_rats_1337 as a map it was one of the most popular maps in the server many people used to choose it during map vote.
So now if you ask me why players like those type of maps like de_school_attack and de_rats i can't really say why maybe it's because before time they have played on different servers with maps like these and they like them that's what i think i could be wrong through
I'm not saying that you should add these maps but from what i continue seeing on the forum people still make topics about those type of maps so i think it would be nice if you add some of those maps i think maybe more people would join the server who knows sometimes a single map makes a different just look at the players who join on big_city2 sometimes from 8 players when the map changes to big_city2 in a matter of minutes the server almost gets full so yeah as i said sometimes a single map can make a difference and yes i'm aware that most of the admins don't really like de_rats map i personally don't really mind them i don't like them to but i don't hate them.
The same can be said about the westwood maps you know i'm not a big fan of those maps but people seem to like them and i have played in different servers who to this day still use the westwood maps and get a lot of players in they're servers i don't know why players like those maps but if the server will be better with those maps and more players would join the server then i think it will be better for the community.

Bear in mind this is just my opinion and thoughts on the server

Hello and thank you for your suggestion. And yes random weapon round on nojarq_fun_zone is a mistake and I will stop the plugin right away on that map.

In regards to air_fight yes that seems like a valid point, but I will wait for a while because to me that particular thing did not happen yet which means it could be an extremely rare scenario like once per month. Also on other maps, seems like pretty balanced and it's a fresh new way to play.

And yeah there are not many new things happening, because I have done pretty much everything that I wanted and from time to time I found some cool stuff on the internet and add them which accounts about 2 new features a month if lucky.

The problem with de_rats_1337 is that it attracts people that are not particular playing in our server for what it is (the cars), but for competitive rank or at least this is what is happening on it. Also once the server it changes to that map, normal players get rekt and leave followed by the rankers leaving and then the server gets empty. In other words, people vote for it they get rekt and everyone leaves. There is cs_rio which is like a decent replacement for it.

And about adding new Westwood maps I am not very comfortable with it, because again it attracts wrong people from which only we normal players can suffer, but I am ready for compromise, for example, to remove de_westwood_newstyle and add one or two others.

P.S. I don't know what to say about de_school attack it was here before it was barely played and I removed it should I do it again?

So let's make it clear i didn't say that "You should remove the Random guns system" i just said couple of reasons for me personally why i don't like it and yes thank you for removing it from nojarq's map because playing on that map with guns especially a single players vs 4,5 players with knife it's so unbalanced that even Obi Wan Kenobi feels a disturbance in the force when someone plays with gun on that map.

So one of the main reason if maybe not the main reason why i hate this system is the fact that i have been saving money 3 rounds for an AWP or for another expensive Weapon and yeah all is cool i get the money i need on the 3-rd round get the AWP or any other weapon for which i was saving money and then on the 4-th round bam "Random Weapon System" and it removes my gun and then i have to save money all over again so yeah this is the main reason why i PERSONALLY don't like it i have noticed that a lot of other players hate this saving they're money for an expensive gun and the the next round loosing it because of this system this is the main issue i find with this system.

Look as i said i'm not a big fan of "de_rats" map to but as i said if the people in the server who play "the community" want those maps then for me personally it's better if you add them even i already said i don't know what is the reason for people to like those type of maps like "de_rats" "de_School_attack" or even "de_westwood" maps but i have seen those 3 maps in other "car" servers before time so maybe that's the main reason why they want those maps maybe because they like them or maybe because of nostalgia i don't know i could be wrong.
I am well aware that if those maps are added some new guys might come to the server who as you said Maverick could be rankers and what not but i don't see a problem with that we have many people in the server who play just for rank and yeah it's normal for the more "Unskilled" players from time to time to leave the servers because of getting rekt by "better players or more simply rankers" but that's how the game works you either play hard and become a better player or don't play at all give up and remain a noob.
Okay so i think it will be better if those type of maps are added even for a short period of time just to see if they will attract new players to the server and if those players will later continue playing in the server if you suddenly decide to remove them from the server later.

This is just my suggestion in the end it's up to you "Head Admins" to decide what you will do

Okay here is what I have decided after consulting with others admins.

de_rats ain't coming in any shape or form. A decision to be removed was made a long time ago and there is no need to retract it as the reasons why it got removed are still valid today. - it's a ranker map with hard to orient place and I don't enjoy playing any minute of it.

de_school_attack - again for this reason why it was removed are true today, it's not particularly good, it was not popular at all, slowly placed as people will usually camp somewhere until they are found. Honestly I would much more prefer to bring back 4houses (although it is again ranker map without cars), as its proven to be much more popular and voted for playing.

de_westwood - I don't see much of a reason to add this one as there is already a de_westwood_newstyle which pretty much has the same with some extra features, but sure we can try swaping them and see how people are going to like de_westwood

de_eldorado - a new wildwest map that you might like as is as you said used in other cars/fun server before

No, I wouldn't say it is an issue, but a desirable effect. As it says in its name it is supposed to make the game a little bit more random and interesting by putting you in an uncomfortable zone. And as far as I can tell it does it decently well and players don't mind it that much. It remains to be seen how often it should happen, probably a bit more rarely, but who knows.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but to me the easiest solution is to just add weapon restrictions on maps that already have them. In awp_snowfun you cant buy AWP / auto sniper, so i think it should be the same with Random weapons mode. On maps like air_fight2 you can adjust random weapons mode to remove these long range weapons, and just keep adjusting the plugin with specific maps Also you should remove team sided maps like lakehouse, because it just isn't fair for the T's

@xelP Sadly no this is not possible, what is possible though is to disable the AWP from the plugin for all maps or to disable the plugin only on that particular maps. For now, as I said above I will wait to figure out if this is really big a problem and needs to further be dealt with.

I am afraid that you would need to deal with it because most of the time it matters more who is playing in a certain team than the map itself for which PTB plugin should help by switching people between the teams. There is always an option, for example, to make blocks or to restrict AWP on it, but then again we would go too further to fix something that is not broken, which is lost energy and time for questionable result.

Look i have been playing nearly 3 years in this server and i have played plenty of times Lakehouse and i can say that the point you are trying to make that is a Ct sided map is not valid or at least not for me and here is why.
So first of all i have noticed that it's neither a Ct or T sided map it depends on which players from which team are playing most of the time before when it was added usually the more "Skillful" players were joining the Terrorist team and we're using either He grenades to boost themselves to the CT team or either using Smoke grenades to teleport faster but yeah most of the times it was a He grenades and they usually got to the Ct base in a matter of seconds so all i am going to say that for me personally the map is pretty balanced and it's not a CT sided map so for me the map is pretty balanced for both sides.

Maverick now as i said the final decision towards which maps to the server is up to you i mean the server is yours so you decide what is better for it i just suggested this because i remember before that they were popular maps and a lot of people played them but if you don't want those maps then i don't mind "i to don't like them to that much" so i guess there is nothing more to discuss here since you have made your decision final.
