A new feature that will help as popularize and get popularized some other servers or websites is our banners (ads). On normal screen they look like so:

pretty neat for me.
I should mention that we can advertise and put there whatever the heck we want like some important topic (free VIP topic) or the Facebook page for example or even if we have some kind of an event in the server.
The only thing needed is a banner with size 468 x 60 px.

Today 5 new adds (banners) have been added to the forum, they are more like self-promotional as you can see all of them are pointing to our services. That way newcomers will easily find most of the important links about the server.
All of them have been compressed heavily by about 70-80% which means their size is about 12-15 kbs, so no one will really have slow loading time of the forum, plus all of them have custom short links in order for me to get an idea if someone actually clicks on them.

Another new feature that I have been working and created by myself is tag.

Also, a new Facebook page cover image was made and updated.

All b o t users are deleted along with their spam posts and in order to defeat future spammers, I enabled user registration activation by email. That way their job it would be much harder, meaning they will need to have a real email and go there and activate their account in order to use it.
We shall see how this will help if they still persist I will consider adding some other anti-spam measures in future.
P.S., To be honest, I don't know how they managed to beat Google ReCaptcha...

BBCode Enabled Profile Fields has been added to the forum to allow user for better customization of their profile (example), as usual, you will be able to find those fields in your profile

Adds the possibility to include BBCodes in profile fields of String or Text types.

Unlike the MOD that was used in 3.0, this is activated individually for each field that it requires it, and also allows to decide if one field allows it and another does not, and if one only admits smilies, and another admits all kinds of extra data.

This extension complements the phpBB implementation of the profile fields of type string and text to allow BBCodes, smilies and URLs to be processed, if so configured.

I also enabled links and bbcodes to work there as well and can add as many custom field as we need.

A new background color bb code has been added, which will allow you to put a background behind your text like so:

You can use any color you want to put there.

Contact Admin form with google captcha has been added to the Contact Us page in order for some guy from Russia to stop spamming me on that email about results from world cup 2018.

phpBB extension that allows guests and/or registered users to either send an email/send a PM to admins or make a Post in a designated forum. It also overrides the default contact admin link found on the forum. A port of the phpBB 3.0.x mod “Contact Board Administration”

Also, arrows (Scroll To Up and Bottom) now for up and down are added to the forum.

A phpBB 3.1 extension that adds a Scroll to Up and Bottom button making it easy to return to the up and bottom of a page.
The scroll buttons appear and disappear depending on the resolution and page size (or both are shown at a time when needed).

Also, a new BBCode which will allow you to resize an image with the width you want and on click will point to the original size image.

10 avatars have been added to the gallery of the forum avatars, you can select them by looking at this image and fallowing the steps.

Okay, so I got really annoyed by this little thing since every time when I got to write something it goes red.

So I have issued a new SSL certificate and enabled a secure connection to the forum. I even enforce it and now even if you go to http://awesomecs.syntrwave.com it will push you back to the secured link https://awesomecs.syntrwave.com

So I guess enjoy security.
